Chicago Refugee Coalition (CRC) provides vital support to newly arrived refugees as they rebuild their lives in the Chicago area. We partnered with CRC’s Volunteer Coordinator and Founder to conceptualize and produce a visually engaging, culturally sensitive training video series to streamline volunteer onboarding and improve the volunteer experience at scale.

Training Video Series Design & Production
We developed a series of three animated training videos designed to educate thousands of CRC volunteers with clarity and care. These videos needed to reflect CRC’s brand identity while capturing the spirit of Chicago and the client’s unique vision rooted in Bauhaus-inspired minimalism.
Illustration & Character Development
Through research and intentional design, we crafted a visual world that centers community, compassion, and cultural nuance. From neighborhood backdrops to character design, we carefully developed scenes that reflect the lived experiences of refugee communities and the volunteers supporting them—bridging storytelling and education through every frame.
